Readers Respond: Lead aggregators sell prospect info to Realtors, are they worth the cost?

There are a lot of companies out there that want a piece of the real estate professional's commission. With the Internet came lead aggregators, putting up high dollar and heavily promoted websites to lure visitors in the market to buy or sell real estate. They then take the leads they generate and sell them to real estate agents, sometimes for a large chunk of their commission. What's your experience with lead aggregators, or just give us your opinion. Buying Leads - Have You?

Yes

YEs I have and haven't gotten much out of them I like to just pay a referral on ones that pan out

Just My Two Cents

I'm responding to my own article, but I'm passionate about this subject. The vast majority of real estate professionals would be far better off if they spent their money promoting their own web presence to generate leads, rather than paying a third party for leads that in many cases are worthless.
