What I Wanted to Accomplish
I'm focused on marketing my listings as efficiently as possible and to the broadest audience. Technology changes constantly and since over 80 percent of buyers find their home online first, real estate agents have to understand and use all tools available to their full advantage.
What I've Bought and Tried
Iphone - This is the most used tech tool I have. Besides being my phone, it's easy to look up listing or community info and give it to clients on the spot. I've also just started to use it for property video and I think it will work fine.
Acer netbook - not powerful enough to be useful to me
TomTom GPS - great mapping for my neighbourhood. Useful to set up the night before for a day of showings.
Visual Tour - Too time consuming and the end result isn't fantastic
Lessons Learned
- research new products and systems before buying
- one tech tool can perform many functions well and save time and money (recommend the Iphone)
