There's been a lot of tech criticism of the iPad for not having any USB ports, and particularly about not being able to connect to a printer and print documents. However, it's an easy fix, for the office anyway. It still isn't going to be a portable fix, but I'm fine with printing back at the office, and printing in the office using PrinterShare.
Once you've installed the PrinterShare software on your computer, any printer connected to it becomes available to those you allow to print on it over the Internet. It's not just about using an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. You can also have people in offices across the country able to print documents directly on your printer. Better quality is achieved without emailing or faxing.
While you still will not be able to print to a portable printer in your car, you can print back at the office and just pick up the documents. So, check out PrinterShare.Note: If you came to this page from a search, go to the 10 Apps Tip Article for more of the same.
