Real Estate Policy Manual - Sign Policy and More
Catch-all Section for Several Topics

By , About.com Guide

Chapter 2 of our real estate policy manual includes these sections on:

  • Sign Policy
  • Employee Office Hours
  • Legal Assistance for Associates
  • Inspection and Other Services

Sign policy should set out the style of signs, who pays for them, recommended vendors, and where/when they can be placed by type. Note that the sample section does not list vendors or information that may change regularly. It mentions a list available from the office manager. This way it is not necessary to issue amended pages for the real estate policy manual if you add or change a vendor.

The other sections are self-explanatory. Throughout this real estate policy manual, you will find that details are covered that may seem obvious. However, anything left unsaid is something open to interpretation and errors.
