Parking and curb appeal are important.

Park your vehicle so that there is plenty of room remaining for visitors. Some will drive by and not return if there is no parking available on their first drive-by.

Curb appeal can't be stressed enough. Make the exterior of the home as attractive as possible. This is critical in the competition for your visitor's time when there are plenty of other homes on their list for the day. Remove debris and clean the porch and entryway.

  1. Get the timing right.
  2. Plan for safety.
  3. Market and promote your open house effectively.
  4. Parking and curb appeal are important.
  5. Place marketing and information materials conveniently.
  6. Do the very best you can at making the home's interior pleasant and inviting.
  7. Be positive, and have contract forms ready!
