Simple Example of a Real Estate Site Plan with Search Engines in Mind

Jim Kimmons
Well, you are but..... The competition for the real estate keyword phrases for an area is intense. You can hardly count on getting top positioning with "YourArea Real Estate" or related phrases.

Your site can become a highly-placed real estate resource in the engines, but it will be with keyword phrases more closely aligned with smaller information chunks and information bits that your visitors want to locate. The longer and more focused the keyword phrase, the better your chances. In other words, you would love to get a visitor with "YourTown real estate sales statistics." That's pretty focused, and likely a good prospect.

Plan your basic site layout as in the image. Divide up your content into large subdivisions and then break those down even more. We'll break each of these major groups out further in the next steps.
