Setting Up a Google Real Estate PPC Account

Building the Ad Copy for Google Real Estate PPC Campaign

Google® rewards relevant ads by giving them better placement at lower cost per click. This means that, even though the top bid you're willing to pay for a certain keyword search click is lower than a competitor's, you can still get better placement if your ad has a history of generating better CTR (click through ratios).

Properly written, your ad can get better CTR and your cost per click for the same position can also go down. When you place the keyword phrase anywhere in the headline or description of the ad, they will show in bold text, making your ad more visible. In this step we design our ad headline and description text for maximum interest and cliks.

1. Use the keyword phrase that you're targeting in your headline. If you are wanting clicks on "YourTown real estate", then have that in the title, such as "All YourTown Real Estate Here."

2. Try to also place the exact keyword phrase near the beginning of the description. It could be something like "All YourTown real estate listings, maps and more here."

3. Enter the Display URL. This is usually the home page of your site. It isn't necessarily where they're going, but it just displays your site name.

4. Enter the Destination URL. This is the link to their destination on your site, such as your IDX search page.
