Positioning in a Google Search
You decide where in the ranking of the paid ads you'd like to appear, and that's what you'll structure your key phrase and bidding to accomplish.

Note in the image that we definitely would usually want to be in the top seven or so, with two or three usually appearing at the top left of the page, and the rest along the right border. Some have found that trying to stay somewhere around position three or four gives them adequate exposure and traffic.
