Think about your last networking get-together locally. How many people were there? How many did you get to meet? How many did you get to engage in a meaningful conversation about business or anything else? It was likely very few. There simply isn't enough time. This is all about connections and how to build them. Then you work your first level connections to meet their connections, and so forth. You also ask your connections to recommend you to others.
