You choose the badge type and size, type in your custom name, usually your business name, and copy out the code at the bottom, as in the image. Paste the code into your business website or blog to place the badge.
Notice that there are really two pieces of code. The top shorter one is a piece of code you want to place between the "head" tags of your website. It sets you as the publisher of that site, and will help you in Google searches in the future. If you can't place the code, get your website person to do it for you.
