Tour of the WordPress Dashboard
This is where you build, control and maintain your WordPress site.

By , About.com Guide

Once you've installed the WordPress software on a host server, you will have access to the Dashboard. Each time you log in to maintain the site, this is your destination. In this tour we will take a quick look at all of the options available. Links from the Dashboard take you to pages where you design your site, set preferences, and actually enter text, photos, and more.

This won't take long, but it's very important. Use what you learn here to build out a highly effective community blog.
