The blog here is a WordPress blog, and there are various ways in which I can set it up to handle comments. Because the vast majority of my readers are responsible real estate and mortgage professionals whose opinions are valued here, I let comments approve immediately unless they're full of links. However, I'm also notified by email with the text of the comments and I read them all. So, Angeline, I won't be going to your site and smoking any of the pipes you're trying to sell there.
I wanted to post about this, as it's almost a daily happening, and I want real estate professionals who hire people to promote their sites to take note. Ask specifically how they're going to promote your site, especially on the social sites and blogs. If they're out there doing this or generating automated commenting, they're doing you more harm than good. In two clicks they're marked as Spam.
