Your Time and Twitter - Spending Less and Doing More

I posted recently about using different Twitter accounts for listings, which of course requires more time to manage another account.  There are also a great many real estate professionals out there who are concerned about justifying the time they're spending in managing their new social network profiles and accounts.  I truly believe that Twitter is a force that's here to stay, but we need to get a handle on how to use it to our benefit without spending too much time trying to manage multiple accounts and sift through the "noise" to find the news and information we want.

I just wrote a profile on the free online tool I've found to be the best Twitter efficiency app out there, Hootsuite.  With this app, it's easy and fast to manage and post to my five Twitter accounts.  But, just as good, I can set up columns to display custom Twitter searches that grab the news and information I want by topic and key phrase search.  I have a dozen or so custom columns that sift through the noise and bring me just what I want, taking only minutes each morning to get a picture of everything of interest.  Check out the Hootsuite details here.
