Blog Copyright Protection - Easy and Free

Monday November 24, 2008
Don't you just love to spend your time digging up great new ideas for real estate blog posts only to find your words copied on another site? In many cases, the person copying your work doesn't even realize it's wrong, though they should. They mistakenly believe that the link and attribution to you gives them a green light. If you believe this, it is incorrect. Whether you are credited with the work or not, copying it without your consent is illegal.

It's a fact that enforcing your copyright is usually more trouble and expense than it is worth, particularly with blog posts. However, for those who just don't know any better, an email with a "cease and desist" will usually get the content removed. And, you can even give them a link to the recorded digital fingerprint at MyFreeCopyright.com to prove it.

Even better, once your account is set up, you do nothing extra to make it happen. Just publish your post normally, and the copyright site does the rest.
