Tee Martoonies And A Condo Please

Saturday November 15, 2008
You know the joke phrase "I've only had tee martoonies" to indicate a bit of over-indulgence in alcoholic beverage. Those who like a bit of whiskey are now being targeted by a New York high end condo broker. The first paragraph from the New York Times Article, For Apartment Shoppers, Some Liquid Courage cuts right to the chase.

"Here’s one mistake that stressed out financial workers may want to avoid right now: Don’t get so drunk over the bear market that you dial up your broker and buy a luxury Manhattan condo on a boozy whim."

With wine and beer at every stop, the broker is doing tours of multi-million dollar condos in Manhattan. With $60 bottles of whiskey, and some fine wines and food, it's probable that the "fit and finish" of the construction was looking better with each new location.
