Tech Notes: Up-To-The-Minute Bookkeeping The Easy Way

Wednesday May 28, 2008
Now, if you're a highly detailed and analytical individual, you may want to go on to other things and skip this post. But, if you're like me, and the relatively simple accounts system required for a real estate agent actually drives you crazy, then read on.

Technology is truly my friend, in that two free online services now:

  • Allow me to be completely current in my bookkeeping with little effort.
  • Get my expense and income entries into the database with little or no typing.
  • Make it so easy, it's almost fun, and I never miss an expense.
  • Oh yeah, and it takes about five minutes a day.

Sorry, but the details are a bit long for a blog post, but I promise you'll get it all, including links to the two services at this article. If simple, fast and accurate is what you want, you'll like it.

Steve:

Only the first 160 characters hit a text message. However, when I was using Outlook (no more), I would get two messages with more text.
