To follow up on yesterday's post about ARV, or After Repair Value, this post about a real estate auction gives a real-life example.

Hopefully, this buyer wants to live in the home. From an investment perspective, even held as a rental, it isn't a shining example. It does look like you'd want this auctioneer on your side though.
