Flip This House - A Reality Flop

Though reality TV is supposed to be "real", most of us realize that some creative latitude is OK to juice it up a bit. But A & E's Flip This House seems to have gone a bit further than that. An Atlanta TV reporter did some investigative digging and turned up a few flips that appear to have been totally fabricated.

What's the fuss? Just a few allegations, so you be the judge:

Sam Leccima, featured in the series, had his real estate licensed revoked even before the filiming of the first episode.

Leccima didn't own the homes as represented, nor were the reported profitable flip sales real.

The TV report at one point stated "...a house was “landscaped” with plants that were immediately removed after a phony open house."

Well, my faith in "reality" has been dashed to pieces now.
